gebo - the expert for glass fittings and innovative glazing systems. Since 1992 gebo glas-elemente-befestigungssysteme is operating successfully on the national and international glass fitting market. Since then, numerous filigree glass constructions have been build with our point-fitting systems. gebo, as a division of osp präzisionsteile GmbH, the ISO-certified manufacturer for precision parts in Neckarwestheim, provides all point-fitting systems and connectors of pure German origin. Over 19 years of technology know-how and innovative strength in the range of point-fixed glass constructions and more than 1000 installations and references in all ranges of applications confirm gebo’s leading position. gebo is well known as developer and manufacturer of the point-fitting system known as SGG Multipoint® Saint-Gobain.

The delivery range of gebo covers two product lines for interior and exterior glass architecture. 1. Point-fittings as well as complete fitting and connecting systems (Made in Germany) for glass constructions in facades, roofs and canopies. 2. Multidoor® glass door systems, in partnership with world-leading European designer and manufacturer of floor checks and hardware for frameless tempered glass door assemblies.

 

If more than pure standard systems are required, flexibility becomes for gebo the order of the day. gebo creates individual solutions that fulfill special requirements on projects. This is assured by years of experience, a rich pool of knowledge in glazing and glass fittings, combined with innovation and excellent craftsmanship in turning, drilling, milling, etc. gebo’s competent and experienced specialists are backed by ultramodern CNC-controlled machines and fully automatic production processes.

Extensive fundamental knowledge and experience in fittings and glass technology – from planning to implementation – is available to the benefit of gebo customers. gebo, as a division of the ISO-certified production company osp präzisionsteile GmbH in Neckarwestheim is able to solve and rapidly convert customer's demands and special requests.

Regarding product variety, quality, services and times of delivery, gebo constantly improves its processes for the benefit of its customers.

Enterprise development

1992: Foundation of gebo glas-elemente-befestigungssysteme. 

1993: Development of a complete point-fitting series, called Multipoint®, distributed by Saint
          Gobain. Development of the tension rod suspended glass-roof system. Realization of
          the glass-roof construction at the State Chancellery in Munich. 

1994: First point-fixed double glazing facade implemented at “Galeria Kaufhof” in Mannheim
          with gebo patented system ZK CI fixing glass-dimensions of 2000 x 4000 mm. Unique
          entire glass bridge with gebo point-fittings and connecting systems in Rotterdam (NL).

1995: First hanging mono glazing facade in Germany with rod structure and gebo point-
          fittings for the Federal Printing Agency in Berlin.

1996: Unique hanging double glazing facade with gebo point-fittings at the “Musée d'Art
          Moderne” in Strasbourg (France).

1997: Glass construction of the Opera Shanghai (China) with gebo point-fittings.

1999: Federal construction permission for the glass roof SGG-Rooflite® with gebo point-
          fittings.

2000: Unique hanging glass facade at the Sony Center Esplanade in Berlin with gebo point-
          fittings and connecting systems.

2001: Partnership with casma. gebo becomes exclusive distributor of Multidoor® - glass 
          door fitting systems in Germany.

          Realization of diverse types of applications on Allianz project in Frankfurt with
          gebo point-fittings and connecting systems.

2002: Development and implementation of the first fire protection overhead point-fixed
          glazing system with gebo special fittings in “Petuelringtunnel” in Munich.

2003: Execution of the earthquake-proven double glazing facade at the new Airport Terminal in
          Seattle (USA) and glass-roof known as the “The Ring of Fire” at the Olympic Stadium
          in Berlin with gebo point-fittings.

2004: Federal construction permission for point-fixed glass floor panels, known as SGG
          Litefloor® with gebo point-fittings.

2005: Change of ownership at gebo. New Management; new market goals and selling
          strategies.

2007: gebo moves to new office incl. warehouse facilities and ISO certified partner production in
          Neckarwestheim.

2008: Start of retrofitting: gebo's point-fittings are chosen as most suitable to retrofit various facades

2009: Expanded product range for Multidoor® - glass door fitting systems.

2010: Integration of gebo as the "glass construction division" of osp präzisionsteile GmbH.
